@sk1, I suspect you have changed one of the SELECTIONPREVIEW settings in concert with one of the QUAD settings. As this seems to turn SECTIONCYCLING off.1 -

Could it be that the Boundary Detection command is activated? The bottom right icon in the attached image.3
